Some of you have been told by your cadets that their rooms are cold. I checked into it – below is the response. The following excerpt is from the USAFA Energy & Facility Management Policy signed by the Superintendant on 23 Mar 09. 3.4. Summer/Winter changeover – Comply with the following changeover standards in all facilities that require a manual seasonal changeover between the heating and cooling modes: Heating Season – Heating mode may not begin until outside air temperature drops to 55 degrees F (avg) for four consecutive days Since the dorms are all controlled through a central system that requires a seasonal changeover, once this threshold is hit, they will make the switch. If there are cadets who are having issues with the dorm temps, they need to address them through their chain-of-command so we can help them out. Otherwise we will not know that this is an issue.

Acceptance Day is on Wednesday of this week and arrangements start at $30.00. We have Fresh Flowers, Balloons, Stuffed Animals and Candy. Deliveries run 6 days a week.
